Jaguar XJ V6 3 litre
Discussion
I sold my straight 6 XJ6 a while back and pretty much regretted it ever since.
I have started to look for an older (and cheaper) XJ and test drove a lovely V6 today. 2005, 120k miles new MOT etc. Drove nicely but two things struck me:
The seat (which was lovely) creaked a lot - is this normal? I know it's leather and everything but I don't recall my XJ6 doing that.
The steering seemed a little heavy - but I am now used to a Honda Civic which I think is very light. Or is this something to think about.
The blasted car sold itself. And, best of all, a smile appeared n my face.
Any thoughts?
Mike

Congratulations (please post pictures)!
I've just done something similar and bought a 2005 V6, but with 43k on the clock (there's a thread in readers cars on mine).
The seat doesn't creak, but I'd say that the steering is noticeably heavier at low speeds than my previous Skoda Superb.
They are fabulous cars, I'm completely hooked! I hope you enjoy it!
