X308 retractable door mirror fault

Hello,

Need some advice on this please, when I retract my door mirrors, the drivers mirror seems to keep trying to retract or open once its reached its limit, the motor appears to keep on running.

Does this both ways like there is a limiter missing, I would really appreciate any thoughts on this, repair or replace ?

Have you tried a re-boot. Disconnect the battery for a minute or two, than connect back up.?
Just guessing.
Funny thing is, I didn't think mine retracted, until I pushed a button by mistake after turning the car off the other day. I can't remember what I did now. Must have a look in the owners book

There is a tiny lump that mark where your mirror is supposed to stop but they wear down. The system does learn to an extent so using your hand to manually stop it when it reaches the right position is OK

Will do a lump inspection then, maybe engineer something, thanks for this.
