hello I'm new member and hope to spend good time here .

I changed my upper secondary tensioner myself for bank B after starting the car heard little rattle I turned off the car opened cam cover to check camshaft and chains and the tensioner they looked fine .

and my 4 camshaft flat lubes match up if i turn the crankshaft clockwise . do I have a chance that I bent valves? I will do compression test yes but I just need to know since the 4 flat camshaft lube match ist still possible to bent valves?!

You are very unlikely to have bent valves, mine jumped 1 tooth and didn't bend anything. Now you know how easy they are I would change the other bank as it will be in a similar condition.

A brief chain rattle on first start is not unusual with a new tensioner.

You can change the secondary tensioners quickly and without disturbing the valve timing or any needing special tools by removing the exhaust camshaft.

Lock the secondary timing chain round the exhaust cam sprocket with a tie wrap, jam the chain on the inlet cam sprocket with a piece of wood and progressively slacken off the cam bearing bolts until the camshaft is free. Have someone hold the camshaft out of the way, remove the old tensioner and fit the new one then replace the camshaft by progressively tightening the bearing cap bolts.
