I miss my Jaguar F-Type SVR
Discussion
I only owned my SVR for six months from January 2018 to July 2018. I bought it 2nd hand at 8 months old with 3,000 miles on the clock and it had done 7,500 I think when I sold it. I traded a 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed to get into it and I replaced it with an AMG GTR. The GTR is a great car but it is very hardcore for road use.
The beauty of the SVR was that it had enormous power, great 4WD handling, it had the best sounding exhaust of any car I have ever owned and it was truly usable as a daily means of transport.
I keep looking at the classifieds to see if there is a special one with my name on it. Unfinished business I think!
Have you ever sold a car and regretted it?

Yes, I’ve bought/sold TVR’s, a 911 Turbo, a GTR, and a V8S sold after 18 months. None missed except for the V8S for similar reasons to those you have quoted and bought another a year later. Never regretted it and still enjoying it. Buy another SVR LeoSayer said:
I have pangs of regret selling a Silver VW Corrado VR6 with air conditioning, but I probably wouldn't buy it back if I was given the chance.
I've now got an F-Type R which I certainly would regret selling.
Ahh I understand the Corrado VR6 attachment; I have a white one and would certainly regret selling it.... even though what I'm spending on it over the next couple of years would buy me something else interesting (timing chains, clutch, top end refurb, abs pump and a respray.. )I've now got an F-Type R which I certainly would regret selling.
I do see the F-Type as a modern day version of it though.

Well, the aircon marks it out as unusual. But, for a true Corrado obsessive, you need to talk to Corrozin... I've now got an F-Type R which I certainly would regret selling.
