Can someone tell me what this is? Under the left hand side, near the rear jacking point.
There are some perished hoses, and corroded clips I’d like to replace, but I have no idea what it is, and can’t see anything that resembles it in the Jaguar on line parts pages?
TIA,
Mick ::

I'll have a look at the JEPC tonight and see if I can find it.

My guess would be a fuel vapour carbon canister.

Thank you for the replies Gentlemen.

I thought maybe fuel pump, but that appears to be in the tank. I can't see it anywhere on the Jaguar parts pages, and can't see any reference to it in the workshop manual. :/

Ooh! Thank you Sir!
So now I have another question, what does it actually do? Fumes I'm guessing?

I believe it neutralises fuel vapours that leave the fuel tank.
