Hi there
Does anyone know how long it should take to get a new part for jag e pace
We had a deer step out in front of out car only doing 40mph, the deer caused only minor damage, ( small crack to grill)
The most damage was done due pedestrian air bag , which broke bonnet, cracked the screen
Which left us white out car
, I rang jag they keep telling me the parts on back order, the insurance company cannot do anything as it’s out of there hands , but they are not helping us with the case.

We have now beeen waiting 12 weeks & counting its all most a season we have been with out out car

I have rang trading standards , they told me they cannot do anything as it’s down to ware &tear

Does anyone have any ideas how they can help, or have had a similar experience

All the best
Pteru

Fairly standard for brand new cars- they're flat-out with parts supply building orders and haven't had the supply to build up the supply chain stocks yet.

Regardless of stocks/demand etc, that's still pretty poor.

This isnt unheard of, was it not on here I read that there were no windscreens for the Vauxhall Insignia at launch and there were a load of them off the road as a result?

I feel your pain, its pretty crap that there isnt a reasonable stock of repair parts for a vehicle currently in production, especially the parts you need which are foreseeable accident repair parts, not something odd.
