After many posts on this subject (on this and other forums) I bit
the bullet and bought a workshop manual off ebay. I am finally
happy with the result (no showing wires and most importantly,
everything works.

1. Lift out the drinks holder and Remove the inner case of the
centre console (2 screws).

2. This will expose the wires for the accessory socket (3 wires).

3. Disconnect the battery.

4. Connect the radar connector wiring (using a fused lead) to the
BLACK wire (-ve) and ORANGE wire (+ve)

5. replace centre console innards

6 Connect battery

You will have to reset things like the radio, windows and handbrake
(listed in owners manual)
