2004 XJR Cruise Control Problem

Aloha.
So I have an error on the dash saying that cruise control is not available. Annoying but as I never use cruise anyway not a massive issue... From researching forums I see common problems are a low battery and earth problems. I changed the battery and have checked the earth points I found behind the headlights...
I was thinking of just swapping out the cruise computer but to do that I would need to know where it is - which I dont... Any other advice?
