2008 XKR Purchase
Discussion
I have recently purchased (in UAE) a X150 2008 XKR - it has 92,000km on it and is in good order. It has a full history with it and has been well looked after.
There are a couple of issues with it....
1) Sagging roofliner - beyond repair I would imagine and needs replacing
2) Adaptive headlight is not 'adapting' - doesn't bother me but the warning light on the dash does
3) The plastic 'silver' lever on the seat to lift the passenger seat up to allow someone in the back has snapped
I am getting the roof done for around 300gbp
I have seen a couple of fixes for the headlight ranging from giving it a good slap to searching for a corroded earth wire
I'm hoping I can get a replacement lever on ebay (or similar)
Is there anything else worth doing on it ?
- gearbox fluid replacement/flush ?
- supercharger pullies ?
Anything to look out for ?
The second hand market out here is terrible (if you are selling) but its great for buyers and I got it for a great price

at that milage, (similar to mine on 74K miles) id have the following done:
-Gearbox service (use a specialist, £3/400. I used David Marks Nottingham, best service i've had from a specialist and an absolute gent.
-Spark plugs (10year/100K)
-Supercharger belt (10year/100K)
Apart from a bloody good service and potentially a new battery you're good to go
