I am considering buying a 2015/16/66 Plate Approved Used Jaguar XE 20d R Sport (180). As I plan on keeping the car a very long time, I just wondered are there any common faults/issues to look out for?

Also, I would be willing to pay the extra fuel and tax costs for AWD traction and grip over the RWD but just wondered what the RWD is like in bad weather and how good the AWD system is. Would a RWD XE get stuck in the snow easily and would it be better in bad weather than say a BMW 3-Series?
