Advice Please

09 Plate X Type 119k, DPF light came on. Took car to garage who said its needs a new downpipe, rear box......... Anyway more to fix than its worth basically, plus having trouble getting the parts.
Very surprised to hear this however not keen to spend anymore money on the old girl after £1600 MOT bill last month.
Any companies buy cars for parts, the new rear break calipers fitted to pass the MOT were £400 I think.

2nd opinion? Speak to Trevor at Penge Jags, he might be able to advise, might have parts and does buy Jaguars to scrap.

I suspect your garage is milking you. Get a second opinion. Good luck!
