Squeaky belt - bear with me.....x308 XJR

I still have a squeaking auxilliary belt, particularly on start up and for a couple of minutes.
I decided to put belt slip spray on the flat side of the auxilliary belt just above the water pump pulley, if my knowledge is correct, the only time this side of the belt comes into contact with anything is the Belt Tensioner Idler Pulley and the Idler Pulley, correct ?
Belt Slip eliminates the swueaking immediately.
As the Belt Tensioner and Belt Tensioner Idler Pulley are new (as is the belt) would it make sense that I could have a duff Idler Pulley ?
Does this make sense ?
This has been a very long process, and I’m still none the wiser despite parting with quite a few quid.....
