Prepare to be unimpressed when they have your money. Luckily I haven’t had to lean on the dealers around here but be prepared for rushed incomplete work and a 6 week lead time to get the car in for a service with a courtesy car. I had a chat to the CRC about it last week, and they also acknowledged the shortage of dealers issue. I’d like an F-Type next, but unsure given the state of the dealer network. Shame as they’re still a better bet than the German offering.

Same with my XFs, but currently needing a new drivers seat. Original booking took 6 weeks. Then they couldn’t fault it. Phoned next day to rebook it to be told it would be another 6 weeks! They finally found a courtesy car for me, but then bodged the repair and it’s now a very uncomfortable seat. They’re now replacing.

My wife has just been offered 9% off an E-Pace if registered for March.
Happy to pass on details should anyone be hunting for a deal.
No relationship to dealership other than being impressed with service so far.
Just about to decide on spec before ordering, looking like an R-Dynamic S in Ferenze Red. So If you can pass on the dealer details that would be greatHappy to pass on details should anyone be hunting for a deal.

Is that for a factory order to her spec or for a vehicle already in stock?Happy to pass on details should anyone be hunting for a deal.

Unlikely to get a factory built car registered this month......

Got to agree with you, traded in the XF Sportbrake, after three trouble-free years, against a new First Edition E-Pace which is turning out to be a bit of a lemon. It's already booked in for it's fourth dealer visit and it's going to be the middle of April and that's without a courtesy car.. Not impressed with the service department at all. Car done less than 2000 miles so far.Edited by fatboy b on Monday 19th March 20:19
(Bonnet alignment completely wrong - corrected on third attempt. Rear arch liners not secured. Locking wheel nuts going rusty. Range on key fob very low, often have to be literally inches from car before it will unlock. Air from vents on passenger side coming out cold no matter what temp. set)
Looking at the OP comments, my guess is that while the size/number of the dealer network hasn't really changed much over the past decade - fancy, jizzy showrooms apart - the number of cars that go through them have almost doubled.
Sales success probably hasn't been reflected by increased back-up.
Which is a shame, really, for Jaguar.

Have to disagree, I've been using Marshalls in Peterborough for the last 8 years / 3 Jags and haven't had any delays in getting cars booked in / courtesy cars supplied (they usually collect for a service anyway). Can't fault their service to be honest.
I don't really wish to get drawn in to a debate over dealers, but that's not been my experience.Gassing Station | Jaguar | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
