Hoping some X351 (e.g. 2013+) XJR owners can shed some light for me.

I had a 5.0L '09 XF Portfolio (so no adaptive dynamics) a few years back that rode beautifully but it was like the MV Jaguar when you found a corner - very boaty. And I'm used to my E63 AMG being rock hard biggrin

So my question to owners: How is the ride? How is the body control?

Impressions I get are that it's very flat in corners, and difficult to upset, but possibly not as smooth as a 'comfort' spec - which is fine. I believe all XJs get adaptive dynamics, but that the XJR setup may be different?

I may be looking at buying a new XJR and finding a dealer with one to be able to test drive is pretty much impossible.

Hi there.

I had a 2004 s class and now have a 2015 xj, the xj outstrips the merc on handling and performance every day. No comparison.
In comparison the s class fealt like a hovercraft. But was more comfortable, especially in head room. But I'm 6ft3 so probably just me lol

Never ever noticed body roll on mine and I drive it hard sometimes. When it loses grip its predictable and controllable.... Up to now lol its a bugger for wheelspin if your not careful.

This is my third xj, last one was woeful on reliability but jaguar warranty is fantastic, albeit expensive.
Had many xf's as courtesy cars, not in the same league I think to the xj.
