Jaguar XJR - Can you identify this connector?
Discussion
I have just bought my first Jaguar, a 2001 XJR, I am absolutely loving it. There's a new thread in Reader's Cars for anyone interested.
I was just wondering if anyone could identify the connector dangling down on the passenger side at the front of the engine bay? I am wondering if it is linked to the engine management light that is on.
Any thoughts welcome!

That what it looks like to me too. See if the foglights work.
If that's not it all you need to do is get underneath and range the connector around to see where it reaches to then look and see whats disconnected.
EML light activation will have stored a fault code. Get hold of a OBD11 reader for £20 or so then read the code(s). When you know whats occurred just reset the light with the reader and wait to see if it happens again.
OBD Socket is underneath the dash beside the centre console in the drivers footwell
