Jaguar ALC Preview Last Night

Well, I went to the Jaguar Advanced Lightweight Coupe preview last night and overall I was very impressed.

Good points were:

• The car is soooo much better looking in the flesh. I liked it in the pictures, but upclose its gorgeous. The pictures really dont give you the feel of the lines of the car

• Unlimited free champagne.

Bad points were:

• I was expecting something more than just the ALC which has been at various motor shows recently

• The numerous Jag personnel rather annoyingly answered every question with "I'm not allowed to say"!

• Hence still have no concrete idea what will change on the production car.

• Werent allow to sit in it.

I was going to publish a few pictures, but they are nothing different than what has already done the rounds in various magazines.

I was there too!
I liked the car a lot.
I thought it could have been positioned better to give more people a better view.
I was standing right next to Justin Hawkins, Rock and Roll!

Yeah I saw him too. Maybe if I wore trousers with tassels down the side then I'd have been allowed to sit in the drivers seat too!

On the Forum under the "New Era" section, someone's posted pictures of the production car. (they seem to have taken during a photo shoot).

I tried to cut n paste the pictures, but it didn't work

The car looks even better than the concept (proper exhausts, fog lights instead of chrome intakes etc).
