Had my heart set on a Jaguar XE, got around to having a proper look yesterday and was surprised at how small and cramped they are inside. There's nowhere to put your right elbow and your left elbow seems to slide around on the overly slippery arm rest. The rear space is a joke too, anybody over six foot would have to tilt their head. My left knee felt snug against the dash as well.

I didn't even test drive it, as I didn't see the point. As much as its not ideal I don't want anything else either, do any big gangly types live with an XE and how much of a problem is it?

My Dad has one. He's 5'10
I'm 6ft and can sit behind him (just).

For driving I find it very comfy.

But if you can't get comfortable then there isn't much you can do frown

They’re great cars. Make sure the seat is all the way down. Every time I get into one the seat is at the highest position (I drive a lot of them at work)

Rear legroom is a awful.

I always think jags are a bit anti-tardis.

Huge cars with tiny insides.

I had one as a courtesy car the other day when my XF was in for a service. I’m 6’2 and with the seat all the way down it was fine. Very similar driving position to the XF although obvious it’s a smaller car.

Leg room behind me was pretty much non existent, but no worse than my W205 C class I had prior to the XF, nor my brother’s 3 series.

I bought the XF purely because it was the bigger car for carrying rear seat passengers (two kids). If I wasnt ferrying them I’d have been happy to buy an XE.

Actually that’s a lie, I’d have bought an F-Type.
