Hello All

I'm currently looking at the estate version of the XJ 2013 onwards models 3ltr diesel engine.

What it the main difference between an S and non S version of the engine?

Could I have any pointers on what to look for on a XJ of that age?
Which option are a must have and good to have?

Cheers

Jack

XF's come in S and non-S, XJ's have only one spec 3.0D....which is the same as the XF-S, 275BHP. Cracking unit, so either way go for the Portfolio S on the XF or which ever trim you fancy with the 3.0D XJ.

XJ's don't come in estate I believe, so he's probably talking about XF, the difference being about 40bhp

S has an extra 35ps and 100mn more torque than the regular 3.0d.

Also gets 18way power sports seats which are way way better than the normal ones.

Options as ever depends on your priorities but the rear parking camera and heated windscreen were top of my list - followed by the higher spec audio

Thanks all

Can you recommend a specialist around Abingdon / Oxford / Didcot or the M40 corridor?

is 120 000 mile a lot for one of those cars?

Cheers
