Whilst preparing for a coat of waxoyl last night I noticed this circular thingy underneath driver's side footwell. It pushed through with ease and was lifting the carpet in the footwell. Have more or less dislodged it now and it's quite rusted so doesn't seal properly. What is it called so I can perhaps order myself a new one from somewhere?

Those blanking plugs are more trouble than they are worth - if you are undersealing, I would clean around the hole, and get a rubber floor bung of the right size then underseal the edge of the hole, fit the bung and under seal around the bung. That way you can easily remove it in future if needed.

Could be a drain hole plug or a plug to fill a mounting hole used in manufacturing. But I'm not to sure.

Seen them before and they usually rust.

cheers fellas

As i see more of the underbody, they're everywhere - as previously mentioned most of them rusted. pain in the @rse. I'm surprised there isn't more water ingress through these things.
