I'm planning to change my X100 XK8 for an X150 later this year so don't have one yet that I can use for trial so wondered if anyone can recommend child seats that fit the convertible version. It is for a 9 month plus child. I've promised my daughter that I would buy the seat for my granddaughter so may as well make sure that it fits in my car as well as hers - no issue with other cars it will be used in but the XK is likely to be the most difficult.

Any recommendations welcomed. Also, if any one can confirm if isofix was standard in the 5 litre versions that would be helpful.

Britax Versafix does apparently fit but I struggled - I just use a belt-in seat in the front when I have to take my son somewhere in my car but i don't do that very often - if I did I'd probably want an ISOFIX seat too.

Hi Guys,

Sorry I can't help answering the op question, however I am thinking of buying an XKR convertible 09-onwards as an occasional car. I have two girls 2.5 an 10 months and would need seats to fit in the back. Is this at all possible or am I in the land of wishful thinking?!

Cheers
Rich.

if you can keep both seats fairly far forward then you might just manage, so long as the seats in question aren't bulky. Best thing I can suggest is to take their seats with you to look at a car and see what you think. It's not going to be a roomy solution for any/all occupants though.

Thanks for the replies, will have a look at the Britax seat but may just go for one that can be mounted in the front using the seat belt as it is most likely if I take my granddaughter out in the car it will be just the two of us, if there are more we would most likely use a different car.

The video is interesting but it is the next size seat up I'm looking for, just growing out of that sort.

Cheers for the vid link! I too need to do more research as I'd be happy to do forward facing seats which shouldn't be as bulky and it's ggod to know the rear has isofix points.
