Hi all. I'm hoping for a little wisdom here without (I hope) creating a 'please give me a free valuation' thread...
I have an x350 XJ sovereign that I'm looking to move on soon. However, looking at prevailing car prices has left me with no idea where a reasonable person would price it.
X350 appear to go from as low as £2.5k for a basic, rough one up to £10k for mint v8, high spec models.
Specifically looking on autotrader, sovereigns similar to my own seem to start at £5k and then rise very quickly. Of course, that is asking price, not necessarily what they are selling for. However, it seems sovereigns have a good £1.5-2k tacked on their prices over base models.
Condition etc being equal, are sovereigns that much more desirable? Or are people just chancing their arms?
I would imagine selling an xj in the current climate is a tough assignment anyway, but I don't want to be a foolish dreamer and then wonder why I have no interest...!
