New XKR owner here, 2009 5.0L , coming from a TVR T350 it is a world of comfortable difference smile

Anyway, does anyone know anything about pairing phones with it? I have a Lumia / Microsoft 640 which doesn't pair up. The Jaguar webpage only lists the 940 (possibly 960?) in the Lumia range. Is there a magic fix / software update I can do to get it to pair or is it just hard cheese?

Be easier to change your phone!

I was worried about pairing my i6S to a 2012MY XKR, but it paired straight away.

Strangely enough I did mine just last night, 2010 MY.

Just turned bluetooth on, hit find/scan on both car screen and phone, car gave me a pairing number to input into phone, worked perfectly. Samsung S7 edge.

I suspect it is due to the age of the car and the niche quality of a windows phone. According to the Jaguar website the 640 does work with the F type so maybe there is a software update. The car is going into a dealers on Saturday so I'll mention it then.

Hi Tony, welcome to XKR ownership thumbup

Have you tried the Jag Connectivity Centre? Just select XK model and follow the instructions to see if your phone is compatible:

http://jaguar50.nextgen-technology.net/?Culture=en...

There is also a recent topic on JaguarForum.com about Bluetooth connectivity issues and some solutions:

http://www.jaguarforum.com/showthread.php?t=99797

I'm a new owner as well (last month) also coming from a T350t in the past:

Whilst I loved the TVR, the Jag is just on another level of performance and comfort for me (and with a Spires stage 3 exhaust, I've got the noise as well!):

Hope you get the issue sorted.

Best, Grant

Your T350 is nicer looking than my T350 smile It is a great car just hard to live with day to day.

I have the engine from a Sagaris in mine so a little more power than standard, although probably not as much as TVR claim.

Took the car back to Williams Jaguar to get an airbag light reset and they updated the software. The phone now pairs straight away.
