F-Type is this a good deal?
Discussion
Hi all,
I've been offered a December 2014 64 reg F-Type 3.0 coupe in Italian racing red with parking pack and orbit wheels and the 3 year service pack.
1 owner, 7150 miles for £39500.
What do people think or do you think prices will continue falling was anticipating spending £35k and really wanted the switchable exhaust.
Apparently the wheels have a couple of marks and a dealer has offered £39k already.
Thanks

My opinion, FWIW...
There are quite a lot of them about, and I don't think this one has the "right" options.
They're a niche market car, and my opinion is they'll fall and steady-up at about the £35k mark.
At £40,000 - a private buyer has to start looking at non-competitive lenders to borrow money from (rather than Tesco, at 3%...) and that's a lot of dough to sink into a weekend toy.
Having said all that, I know I'll get slated, as I did so last year, in a discussion about the relative values of XKRS. Although most of what i said has turned out true.
As for the F-type 400 version - I'm not sure what Jagaur are aiming at, there, with that one

Prices will continue to fall ,I know I had V6S Coupe for a year. If you are used to driving performance cars buy a V8....or you will be disappointed.
I have a V6S and a TVR Tuscan so I am used to performance cars but in no way is the V6S disappointing. It is almost as fast as a V8. The dealer lent me a V8 for a couple of days and what I found disappointing on the V8 was the handeling, too heavy.TravelsVeryRapid said:

I have a 4.5 Cerbera and all i'm going to say is the Cerb puts a much bigger smile on my face driving it than the Jag did....and I did 8k miles in the Jag in the year I had it.This is a well spec'd V8S and very low mileage with a reasonable asking price too:

I would buy it if I didn't already have one

Disappointed in what way? They all look and sound fabulous - albeit in slightly different ways - while even the base model has enough torque to light up its rear tyres with ease.ftypical said:

Dont get me wrong ,it was a great car but after driving a TVR Cerbera for 11 years it didn't have the same sense of adventure.Gassing Station | Jaguar | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
