XFR requires different offsets due to the e-diff on the rear axle. For the same reason wheels designed for the 4.2 XKR won't fit right on the rear of a 5.0 XKR.
I have seen other XFs with Sentas and they look good (only ever seen them in standard silver though), I'd say they suit the XF better than the XK/XKR but that's just IMHO. I know that Jaguar make some wheel designs in different offsets so I'd say find out what offset you need for your particular model and search for something like "Jaguar Senta ET36" or whatever ET (offset) number you need.
Back to the OP's original question - unless you were going to black out the other chrome on the car I'd stick with silver for the wheels. Also, black wheels look good only if you keep the tyres clean and apply tyre dressing each time you wash the car, otherwise the tyres end up fading and go a lighter colour than the wheels, which IMHO just looks silly.
