Jag specialist Southampton area?
Discussion
There is another one in Burslden; they service my fathers Daimler and believe me he wouldn’t trust it to them if they were not good – he loves that car!
The business is run out of a bit of an odd looking huge metal shed scattered with every spare Jag part you can think of. The guy who runs it (Sean) used to work for H.A. Fox and as such really knows his stuff.
Don’t have the details on me at the mo but I will try and dig them out for you tonight.

Sorry for the delay in getting back, my Dad was not around last night so could not get the details.
Anyway the company is called S&C and is based in Hamble (about 10mins drive from Tesco). The number is 02380 458418.
As i said it is run out of a bit of a shed but they are very good. Dad has an imacculate 20 thousand mile '94 Daimler with leather that is almost white as such I always worried about them getting grubby marks all over it but they have been nothing short of excellent everytime.
Regards

Thanks Matt, much appreciated. I visited Jags of Bursledon when I was still looking for a car and they are definateky not an option. Arun sounds the best bet so far, Or H A Fox and bugger the expense! Will be intersetd though Matt...
Any reason why you don't rate Jags of Bursledon? (without going into libel!)I've spoken to the guy on the phone and he talks a good job, except that he's a bit of a dinosaur in his thinking - E.g.not needing electronic diagnostics for an S-Type, probably because he hasn't got any! I was kicking around the idea of using him for servicing etc as he's not far from me (Sholing). But neither is the guy in Hamble so he sounds a better bet as he comes highly recommended!
Cheers, Lionel
Try Racing Green Cars @ Ash Vale, a bit of trip but easy just up A3 or M3.
They do a hell of a lot on XJ8/Rs and XK8/Rs.

Ref Jags of Bursledon. I went there when I was looking for an XJ8. He was fine until I said I knew abount the nicasil problem and "what did he think about it"? After that he said almost nothing and definately did not want us there. Fine by me as the cars 'on show' were filthy and 'lived in'. It would be the last place I would take my pride and joy! These cars need specialists with the required equipment not a garage at the back of a house...
I will be going to Arun now that my water pump (the Jags that is) has been fixed!
