What is the component / XJR-S

I was poking about under the bonnet earlier and noticed something at the back of the engine, under the air balance pipe, fixed in the valley of the engine. Pic shown below


It's the thing circled in red with two cables going to it. I noticed that the yellowing connector is broken and not actually connecting. What is this component??

Answered my own question, it's the oil pressure sender on top and the oil pressure switch that's fallen to bits. Something cheap, at least!
