XF Sound system upgrade

My 2009 XF luxury has got the basic spec sound system fitted and it's OK but I like quite noisy music (punk, grunge, metal etc) and the distortion when turned up loud is pretty bad.
I looked at standard speaker kits but they aren't available for the XF, I've been told it's because of fibre optic wiring.
Is there anything I can do to improve it? I'd really like to add DAB radio as well.

Sounds like you're after the Harmon Kardon option. I can only recount my experiences with an S-Type, upgradng from 'basic' to 'premium' sound. Most if not all the parts were different - head unit, speakers, the rear premium speakers have their own amp under the parcel shelf etc etc. However I was able to find the premuim head unit and amp/speaker unit on eBay, and whilst I didn't change the door speakers, it made a massive difference. Whether the same can be done with an XF I don't know.
