Xtype remap causing coding issues

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me please.

I bought an xtype estate 2.0 diesel sport a few yrs ago and later found it had been remapped.
I have just had to have all 4 injectors replaced but no local garage (including the ford dealer)
Can get the ECU to accept the new codes for the new injectors. Their systems say no communication with ECU. The company that did the remap no longer exists. Can anyone help with advise or maybe options to get round this.

Try a Jaguar specialist. My local mechanics diagnostics kit won't communicate with my XF.
The X Type actually shares surprisingly little with the Mondeo. It's mainly just chassis and a couple engines. Less than 20% of its parts came from Ford.

I would be very surprised if the remap effects the injectors coding at all.

Certainly doesn't on my car.

Rockmonkey I agree with you as the rest of the car is great just over the last few yrs the only problems we've had is the engine as mine unfortunately is Fix Or Repair Daily
