Good man. You'll find a big difference in the Coupe I would imagine. Did you get a good trade in for the Convertible?

Have fun. Mega GT car.

Had to get rid of my MY10 XKR Coupe for practical reasons (replaced with a XF Sportbrake) and do miss its performance & presence.

The Sportbrake is not a bad mile muncher though.

I have had my 2014 XKR since September, absolutely enthralled with it.

Spookily enough, yes. Is there something I should know, even I wouldn't want to? smile

No. I was thinking about buying it myself. I watched it for about two weeks then it disappeared. That must of been when you bought it.

Yep that's me. I'd always said my next car would be something other than black and when I spotted this one at Sascrons I persuaded the OH that we needed to go over there to look at their stock of Audis for her to consider replacing her aging A4 with. smile

Went into the showroom and the XKR sold itself to me really, couldn't fault it, not even stone chipped (I assume the front's been sprayed in at some point although there's nothing to indicate it has). Black interior looks brand new, literally not a mark or crease on it. The red/maroon roof took a few seconds to get used to as I was expecting jet black not dark maranello cherry red.

As I couldn't fault it, and they had lowered the price 2 grand, it would have been rude not to! biggrin

Only thing I've noticed so far is the front tyre may have a slow leak and the adapting lights have triggered a warning light twice when it's been particularly cold. If that happens too often, I'll make a claim on the warranty to see if it's worth the paper it's written on.

Other than that it's a bloody stonking motor and has had nothing but positive comments. biggrin

I missed out there smile

Sounds like you've got your self a nice one.

You can't be that far away from me (Benson). If you fancy meeting up sometime, let me know.
