Any private sale series 1 3.8 e type roadsters out there ?

I'm in the market for a fully restored series 1 3.8 e type roadster if anyone knows one for sale preferably in the carmen red colour with cream or black interior. Don't want to go the dealer route as I'm finding them really overpriced.

Are the dealers shifting them?

If not may be worth a cheeky offer, if their cash flow is slow you never know.
I personally think there's a lot of very overpriced stuff out there being advertised month after month and never turning a wheel.

Like all things only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

I wonder if people are being mindful after brexit, I'm not sure the type of person who can afford an e type are numerous right now.

On the other hand, anyone wanting to sell a series 1 3.8 E-Type can easily see what prices dealers are wanting for their cars currently and are probably thinking "I'll ave some of that" if they're looking to sell their PAJ.

I would think anywhere between 100-135k for a really well restored example.
I did look at one at 100k which was as new, the restoration was excellent but the guy sold it while I was looking at a couple of others so lost out !!
