Hello users of the jag page.

I've agreed to swap my father in-laws clutch slave cylinder on his X type 2.2d on my drive this weekend, how much have I screwed up by?

Are we talking "there, there it will be alright" or "oh crap she's knocked up there go the next 30 years wages" screwed up?

As it's a concentric variety, it's probably "gone" because the DMF is also "gone".

I reckon your right fatboy, gearbox is out and the dmf is indeed unservicable.

Had to cut a hole in a chassis leg as one of the captive nuts for the sub frame was spinning, head to toe cover in crap and off to the shower.

It's going to take a fair effort more to reassemble it though as there's a few trim screws snapped will need to fire up the welder also to repair the spinning captive nut.
