I will NEVER ever purchase a Jaguar again.

Absolutetly with my car and with the main dealers. Spent over £1,200 trying to resolve a a brake problem on start up and have got absolutley no where.

Even though it's the best car I have had I would rather buy a cheap Honda than a car from Jaguar again.

I'm going to go and part exchange for something that won't me off when i start it in the mornings!

I am soooooooo !

Need some background info for us to feel your hurt. Jag dealers as with anyone are only in the business for one thing to make money. Our job is to stop them spending it.

Now what seems to be the problem?

Just noticed your thread angelis.
I like jaguars, and had an xj8 for a while which I was very impressed with. Apparently it had never gone wrong, and my local dealers were very good and pretty reasonable..

But.......This isn't always the case. I have owned a supposedly reliable BMW which was a lemon, the dealers were pretty useless, and nearly put me off BMW's for life. However, I now have another BMW which is faultless. I can understand your anger, and quite frankly I would be spitting feathers too.

Sounds like your problems are with the dealer being unable to rectify a situation, and yes, mighty frustrating.

luckily i bought my xj8l used (no warrante) and my trusty mechanic that i've had for years will work on it (if i need him too) so far so good though. i have run tnto the same problem you have the dealer here gives me the runaround when ive called about getting a spare key made. but i made the misteake of going there and looking at their used selection before i bought my car. so they were kinda ticked off that i found a better deal somewhere else and didn't buy the car they tried to force on me. but what can you do? i'm not gonna let it ruin my enjoyment of this fine automobile
