Sorry triple7

Had a good day out today at the North west meet at the romper.

Few pics posted here.

Not quite an R meet but well worth the ride out

If you are holding up the Jagua-R end. then you have my blessing.

No one in the pics had washed their cars. Oh, the shame of it.

When we all driving up for your first meet then, surely it will have to be a trip to Browns Lane before it closes. Go get organising...................!

Mine was perfect before the run through the country lanes to the Romper.

Bloody salt and wet roads.

Of course you do (the tusc was spot on by the way).

The only qualifying thing I can think of is when we get a decent jag meet we dont shirk our rounds at the bar Heard triple7 can be a bit suspect though

Nice to see some interest from Up North. I'm located on the Wirral, will hopefully get out more.

Oh, I have an RGC/Arden Modified XKR by the way.

Nice one.

Cant wait to see that car of yours xkrman.

Got contact numbers for the tour organisers at three of the jag sites and will be phoning them this week to see what the score is.

Basics are its about a mile and a half walk around the site (x type) So sensible shoes.
Long sleves must be worn??
To arrive half an hour before tour for induction and coffee etc.
Its FREE

I will speak to Browns Lane and the other sites later this week.

Called about Browns Lane today as I wanted to see how they make an XK. This week is last week of production because of the move to Castle Brom. The lady said the museum is small, so along way to go for just that. Hope to have the XJ/XK production line a Castle Brom open for Aug with tours starting at the end of the year.

Was going to go tomorrow but they aren't making any cars

S-Type factory tour should be good, not sure about watching them make a modeo oops:

Keep the southern chapter of the 'R' Club informed. I'm sure we'd use any excuse to get in our motas and go look at more motas!
