F-Type R questions.
Discussion
I've had a bit of a search around but can't find the information that I'm after. Firstly does anyone know how loud the R is with exhaust on normal and in loud mode?
Secondly has anyone taken their R to the Nurburgring? If so what settings worked best? I suspect that the answer is softest suspension with everything else on maximum attack but would appreciate any input.
Thanks.

I have a F-TYPE R
It's 102dB on the static test with valves shut ... so no issues for most noisy track days.
I have also taken it on the Nurburgring and actually its better in the Dynamic suspension as without it it still have too much body pitch and roll.
It's an epic machine on track.
As for the exhaust noise on a long journey, when the zorst is turned off, you simply cannot hear it when your cruising at 90 on the autoroutes/bhans ...anyone that says its too loud for a DD clearly has never used one

Well, for anyone with an F-Type R contemplating taking it on track I would say get on and do it. Awesome at the Nurburgring. I actually enjoyed lapping more in the Jag than I did in my previous car, an E92 M3. Gearing isn't quite ideal but apart from that it behaved perfectly and the brakes are stonking. Can't wait until my next trackday.
