Recommend me a Jag indie near Epsom

Just bought a 2000 XK8. Very happy with it so far, but will need a service and MOT in a couple of months time. Can anyone recommend a good independent specialist in the Surrey area? Surrey Jag Centre in Croydon look OK, but happy to listen to any other recommendations from PHers.

The closest I have tried personally is Arun, who are about 40 miles away

Moonwhizz is a JLR independent based between Ashtead and Leatherhead, actually nearer the latter. Mate used them for a while and considered them OK. Maybe check out their website and see what you think?

Winspeed west of Guildford and Millenium Jaguar in Croydon both have excellent reputations.

I'd highly recommend Tom Lenthall; only downside being his location, near Wokingham. But considering they come from all over the South East to see him, and he knows his stuff

I've used Chris from Winspeed for over 10 years, most of the guys there used to be at RGCs.

My car was previously supplied by Arun and still has their number plates and rear window sticker. They look pretty high-end to me - what are their service costs like? I'll probably try Moonwhizz or Surrey Jag Centre.

I took an 18 year old XJ6 in (X300) and explained that the car only cost me £1200 so I just wanted the minimum doing at the best price, they were very good about it and kept to the (acceptable) price they quoted in advance. Can't remember exact details, sorry! Probably worth a call, if you don't find somewhere nearer.

They sent me to their service centre in a different village, courtesy car was an old Saab, but yes they have some expensive stuff on their Pulborough forecourt.

Used Surrey Jag Centre in the end.

Nice guys, very busy with plenty of XJSs and XJ40s in the workshop. Will use them again.
