Security Module

I have a 2000 Jaguar XK8 coupe 4.0 it has a faulty alarm and security module that is mounted in the boot under the fuse box. I would like to buy a new one are there any members out there that can provide a company name or Jag expert that can supply a new one, I would prefer a new one rather than second hand just for my own preference, can anybody please help?

By faulty, has it had water ingress? I have a spare one from a 1999 XJ8 saloon and I tried it in my XJ8 to see if it worked and despite a label saying it is a programmable part it worked fine. Not sure if the XK has the same module part number for 2 doors rather than 4, someone may know for certain. New ones will be very expensive even if available but if you didn't mind s/h the you could try Eurojag (01325 722777 plus a web site). They have always given me first class service.
If you find the XJ8 is the same, you can try mine.
