P/X'd my F Type R Coupe today

A few weeks ago I made a fateful turn. I stopped at Mercedes on the way home from shopping to see if they had an SLK for my wife. They didn't and they had an AMG GTS. As Mrs BB and I were looking at the car, admiring the shape and the colour (that's a female thing!), the salesman came out and asked if he could help. Well, I wanted a go and so said yes. And well, the rest is history.

On the way to pick up the AMG this morning, I was actually really sad. And I couldn't remember why I had decided that the Jag' wasn't good enough. Well the answer is that is and always was. And on reflection it was actually perfect. Huge power and as soft as you like if your drive it like a granny. And I know I'll miss the fantastic sound. And the comfort and the image. And the admiring looks.

Anyway - new chapter and I hope someone enjoys my 'old' car......
