XF screen stuck on bluetooth pairing

This is driving me nuts. New (to me) '09 XF today, was just pairing my phone and got to the screen where it gives you the PIN, but the phone says no, and there's absolutely nothing else I can do. The screen is just stuck even if I power cycle the ignition. Next step will be disconnecting the battery unless anyone has any other ideas?

My XJ does this occasionally , you need to leave the ignition off for about 10 minutes so the car goes into sleep mode , just cycling the ignition wont help. Then try again, probably just a glitch.

Disconnecting the battery is a last resort but will achieve the same result.
