Unfortunately whilst in convoy to VW yesterday, two of our beloved Jaguars suffered a little 'tete a derriere'.

So whilst Racing Green are likely to be getting a phone call for a whole XKR bodykit I'm asking if anyone happens to have a rear bumper for a '98 XJR lying around? Looks like I need both the outer cover and the internal beam.

Any help greatly appreciated.

PS: Before anybody starts suggesting making the most of the situation, we both understand it was an innocent accident and have agreed to explore other avenues before involving the insurance companies.

Really sorry about y'day Iain, it's the hassle of sorting it out and waiting for your baby to be better again.

Are you sure that both you exhausts haven't been twisted, requiring replacement.

Aha, so I was right (sad car spotter that I am). I noticed that each car had the other's paint on it. Is that why you parked them one nose in, the other nose out to see if anyone noticed?

Sorry to hear about that guys, that must have put a right old dampener on the day.

Hope both are fixed sharpish and it all ends happily ever after

Great collection of Jagwaaaaars to drool over at VW and I even picked up a Racing Green "flyer" as a keepsake.

Oh, and the C-Type (I take it that's the RG "replica") followed me out of the car-park. What a glorious sound it made

Hi Triple7......I think you guys must have been off looking at the other cars as there was no-one around the Jags, otherwise I would have introduced myself.

Still, I'm sure there will be other occasions

I didn't bring my car (300ZX) as Mrs Twin Turbo and Miss Twin Turbo Jnr were along for the ride. In fact that was TT Jnr's first ever car show (she's only 11 weeks old!). First of many car shows, I may add

My other half's Alfa looked a bit lonely
