XF Roof bars - Will pre 2015 bars fit the new 2015 xf??

Due to get my new XF next month and I need to purchase some roof bars for a road trip to the south of france in the summer. I've looked around and at this moment in time only Jaguar sell them due to the likes of Thule and Halfords not produce any for the new model as yet.
I have looked at the older, pre-2015 style and they look pretty much the same, so I was wondering if any had tried a set on their new XF as yet.

I know this is an old thread but it may help someone else looking for roof bars for their new XF.
Currently (April 2017) the only option for roof bars are Jaguar's own, p/n T2H14468. These are made for Jaguar by Thule and are the Thule 754 feet and 135cm wing bars, which I already own. Thule won't sell the vehicle specific fitting kit to you though. I contacted Thule and they advised that they don't have a fitment as the curvature of the XF route is too great and they haven't been able to pass 'city crash tests.' I went back and pointed out that they make them for Jaguar but they then stated that they have no knowledge of commercial agreements between the Swedish head office and the vehicle manufacturers! Fair enough, I asume that Jaguar have contributed towards tooling costs in return for a period of exclusivity.
Just to avoid any doubt the first generation XF fitting kits will not work. I got one from Halfords to check before buying the roof bars.
I paid £187 for the complete roof bar pack from my local JLR dealer, after a bit of discount. They fit well, as expected from Thule kit, and I can easily fit 4 mountian bikes on the roof. I'm sure that just the fitting pack will be available at some point for people with the rest of the Thule parts. If you don't, look our for a complete Jaguar set on eBay in about 3 years!
