X type g/box warning light

Hi,I've recently purchased a 2009 X Type auto well cared for low miles.Still feeling my way round the car and the only fault I have to complain about is the g/box warning light came on for a short time.Has gone off and all seems well.Just wondered if it's a common fault or the start of an expensive saga.Regards Baz
