F-type 340 vs 380
Discussion
Hi All,
Just speccing up an F-type coupe v6. Looking at the prices and options I want. :
Manual
Performance seats
Glass roof
19 in wheels - not sure which ones
Possibly big brake kit for a bit of track work
The question is where to start, the base 340hp or S version. This adds 9k to the price for a few horsepower and adaptive suspension from what I can see.
Has anybody tried both and can you feel much difference in fast road driving. I read a review of a base convertible and it came out pretty good

I drove a 340 and for me it didn`t quite have what I wanted, I bought a 380 Coupe and I`m perfectly happy with it, mine was pre-owned, a year old with 5300 miles on it with 7k worth of options on it, pan-roof, performance seats,20" wheels, powered tailgate etc. I paid about 4.5k more for it than a 340, the difference in price is worth it.

Yes had a TVR S a long while back before a couple of 911's and other stuff.
Decision is between the F-type and a 911 of some flavour, could be 991 or 996/997 turbo, or even a 4s.
I think the F-type is edging it, perhaps not as totally complete as the 991, but more fun at realistic road speeds.
