Jag XKR folding mirrors

Hi,
I'm considering defecting from Porsche to a 2011 Jag XKR but need to know if it will fit through my very small garage door. Because the door is offset to the right I will have to reverse in and I have ascertained that it won't fit with the mirrors unfolded. My question is can you reverse with the mirrors folded or do they automatically unfold whilst reversing. I plan to reverse through the door up to the wing mirrors, fold them, reverse past the door and then unfold them. Is this possible. Many thanks for any help, I've tried searching but can't find any info anywhere.

Can't be 100% certain for a 2011 car but my 2008 lets you do it. Worth testing this when you test drive cars.

I defected from a 997.2 4S to my 2013 XKR and have a garage opening which is only wide enough if I fold in the mirrors which are programmed to be selected manually. So you should be fine.
