X-type 2.0 (55plate) issue

Hi all
I have a X-type 2.0 (55plate), I love the car & it's had a few issues but covered by warranty
(Turbo, power steering pump & rack, water pump & x2 boost pipes, recent exhaust)
I've had a noise which sounded like blowing so just had a new flexi front pipe fitted as there was a small hole in the old one & all the rest of the exhaust is only a yr old, I've noticed that it when I get to around 50mph, all wheel bearings have been checked & there's no warning lights on the dash & it doesn't effect the ride in anyway other than driving me crazy, anyone had any similar problems or can advise ?

Not much experience with these, but maybe check the intercooler hose leading up into the EGR valve. They tend to split.
