The last 2 mornings I have gone out to my xk150 to find the windows down. Any ideas? Everything else seems fine.

Thanks

Not had this with my XK, but did have something similar with an Audi S8 in the past. Turned out I was pushing against the unlock button (key in trouser pocket) when I was sitting down for my morning coffee in the kitchen and it was dropping all four windows. You can deselect 'global opening and closing' in the vehicle settings 'security' menu. Could be worth trying this and seeing if that cures the problem.
Had a similar problem, but a different cause, with an Audi A5 when water had got into the keyless entry button on the door and I sat there watching the car lock and unlock itself for five minutes, with the windows going up and down like a yoyo!

Problems with windows on an XK150?
Someones been winding them down. Have you checked that the catches on the front quaterlights are closing properly otherwise some scrote is pushing them open and reaching in to the main window winder.

Or do you mean an X150 XK?

I don't know about other Jags, but when the XJ6 came out, they were one of the first cars with modern central locking. They had a safety feature of an impact sensor which would unlock the doors in the event of a bad crash.
My aunt was a traffic warden and several times a week she had to help people out who had left their keys locked in the car. She loved coming across XJ owners who were locked out, she would give the bodywork just above the offside rear wheel a good thump with the heel of her hand and the whole car would unlock, much to the owners astonishment.
Maybe yours has the modern equivalent?

As stated the problem is the key fob button being accidentally pressed for a few seconds.
This then opens the windows as described. I,ve had it happen to my XKR shortly after I'd
bought it. Don't put your key fob in your trouser pocket and sit down.
