F Type engine issues

4 weeks into our love affair and she's already misbehaving.

A bit of moisture on the windows and a slight whirring from the heaters I can deal with, but this morning upon starting the engine it was shrieking violently. Car has only done 700 miles. Last week I also discovered the car was PDI'd sometime in May - I initially wondered whether I had been given an incorrect servicing booklet. After a week still no reply from the dealer....

And the dealer is?

I'd say take it back.

I would also note that Jaguar have a number of Technical Service Bulletins out for the F-type that cover the cooling pump for the Intercooler.

Hopefully it's just a slipping drive belt.
