I've seen the vicarage site, are they any good, can you get older ones, the auction prices look high

The original Vicarage cars were of very high quality, I've seen several of them. Vicarage were among the first to develop modifications and upgrades for classic cars on a commercial basis.

In the late 1980's there were some fundamental changes in the company and several of the key personnel left.

The original Vicarage cars are definitely worth having. The newer ones I have no experience.

Hi,
I am taking delivery in a couple of weeks so I will dig into its history more then, but up to now what I think I know is it is an early one of their builds
1962, LHD, BRG, XJS auto box, power steering, power tilt slide roof, power windows, central locking, wire wheels, uprated suspension, steel exhaust, uprated heater, wipers, ignition, invisible heated rear screen, Coomb spats, and sovereign front seats. The sound insulation has to be seen to be believed
It needs a touch of TLC but basically not driven in winter for that last 20 years, it pulls well and I think it looks the part and is a solid car.
As soon as I get the car and can do some research then I will update and get some pics here
Cheers
Barrie
