ok had a remap few months back, 2011 3.0d done just 27k from new, no issues up to remap and no issues after, till 3 month later had dpf full in red, so as with my other cars had the filter out by reputable garage. and the adjusted remap at same time. Now the xf drives fine with easy right foot, however as soon as use heavy right foot ie kick down straight into the red restricted performance! no engine light or fault codes either !!! turn off then turn on all good again. Does this sound like a remap issue ? too lean or too rich when heavy driving ?? remap chap is going to look into it for me but wanted a few views please, hope its a simple glitch in the program again reputable remap company well known based in the west and looked on as poss the best .. thanks in advance

Might be the actuator or rod for the second turbo which comes on stream at 2800rpm. They are known to seize up.

If the car has otherwise been fine, it doesnt sound like a remap issue.

Some sort of code reader should throw up what its problem is likely to be.

Its going in to limp home mode so could be one of 1,000 things doing it.

The remap guy wouldnt have been my first port of call, but i expect he'll be able to read the codes for you
