Hello, Im currently looking at buying a series 2 xj coupe for restoration. I could really do with pointing towards a good forum to get info top tips and a idea of parts prices. Any help you can give will be very useful as all the forums I stumble across seen to be US based. Cheers Ben

Hi ben,Have a look at the xj restoration site for a start to see just how rusty these cars can get under there restoration projects.body panels are starting to get hard to find these days,you will be paying for outer sill £300 each,rear wings=£1,000 to £1,500 per side,you can only get copy door skins now and they are about £300 each,floor pans are avaliabe not to sure on the prices for them now but were £180 per side.inner sills you just cut down long wheel base ones about £100 each.front wings about £500 now.All these prices are for factory panels so quite expensive try to steer clear of copy panels if pos.The front floor jacking toe board panel is the only copy panel ive found to be a good fit.good luck..........
