What's the market like for x350 xjr?
Discussion
18 months into Jaag ownership and it's time to move on the portfolio. Wonderful car and ride, fast and sometimes surprisingly economical.
But onwards and upwards so wondering what's the best way if selling it? PH classifieds? Jagforum or good old autotrader / ebay.
Any recent experiences of sales anyone want to share??
Cheers!

I've found the PH classifieds to be a bit of a waste of time. Autotrader seems to have the most exposure.
Like any big thirsty petrol car you might have a little wait to sell it. A good ad and a load of good photos will help.
If it's a pre-facelift special edition Portfolio these are pretty rare and I'd have thought harder to value but more in demand?

Yes it is, the Portfolio edition 2007. I think there were 100, all same colours -- beige leather metallic black paint with the aluminium trim inside instead of wood. Looks lovely.
It was supposed to be prepared to the highest standard possible from a prestige car dealer in Mayfair but FFS considering one owner and full supplying main dealer history it was the worst prepped car ever and dealer was lucky I was too busy to sue the git.
I lost track of the number of things needing addressing -- main dealer did the autobox oil at my expense before I collected, but parking sensors, headlights, air suspension pump, valley pipes, battery, upstream O2 sensors (my choice, no errors), MAF (same), quite a few suspension bushes, wheels straightened and refurbished, s/c oil replaced (there was about 60cc in there as far as I could tell and old instead of 160cc as I recall), serpentine belt/pulley/tensionner, (s/c belt / tensioner was actually done presale!) That's in addition to normal servicing like airfilter looked like original one!
Having said that for the past few months in the sweet spot it's a wonderful car (haha I would say that wouldn't I?)
My new merc arrives in December so no rush, probably put it up on autotrader then maybe ebay if I don't get any interest.
